Tahoe Youth & Family Services joined 2021 Main Street Fall Fest
Ghouls and Goblins Costume Shack!

​October 2, 2021 – Gardnerville, NV – This event at Heritage Park was amazing and well attended by Douglas County families. Thank you to Main Street Gardnerville for having such an organized and fun event.  The music, food, booths, and coffin races proved to be fun for all!

Tahoe Youth & Family Services Ghouls and Goblins Costume Shack provided Halloween costumes for a small donation.  We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dress up for Halloween.  This was our second year participating in this fun event.  All donations made will go toward our Mental Health and Substance Abuse programs in Gardnerville.  Thank you for your generosity in supporting us to help our community.

​We recycled Halloween costumes thanks to the tremendous efforts of St. Gall Catholic Church who provided hundreds of recycled gently used costumes for us to give out to children, youth, adults, and pets. St. Gall’s also provided the clothing racks along with Bobby Page’s Cleaners of Carson City who provided hangers so we could easily display our costumes for our customers.

Thank you to Lisa and Todd Whear from Stor-all who stored costumes from the community for us all year long and donated their easy up for us to use. We truly appreciate all the children, teens and adults who visited our Costume Shack and picked out spooky and fun costumes and Halloween accessories and provided us with a donation, kudos!  

Thanks to Douglas County Cooperative Extension who created all our festive signage for our Ghouls and Goblins Costume Shack!  It was certainly a fun experience for children and teens alike to enter our costume shack and pick out fun and spooky costumes for Halloween. 

Finally, thank you to our committed board of directors who provided their time and talents all day long to make our community out-reach a goulash success!
