In closing, we would like to say “Thank You.” Tahoe Youth & Family Services is announcing the closing of their Thrift Shop, Hope’s Closet on June 15, 2011. Lots of $5 and $10 Bag Day Sales and great deals right up until our close date, so come on by. “We really want to thank the community for their amazing support over the last year and a half. We feel we have been very successful on two fronts, client care and reaching out to the community. Hope’s Closet has made it possible to supply clothing and necessities to our struggling and homeless clients, as well as clients from South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center, Foster Family Services and Child Protective Services. We have enjoyed meeting hundreds of members of our community via your donations and visits. The community has an increased understanding of TYFS and our programs,” Executive Director, Alissa Nourse. TYFS is “Changing the Direction of Hope.” TYFS will continue to provide clothing to clients in need throughout South Lake Tahoe and the Minden Gardnerville areas.
