Tahoe Youth & Family Services (TYFS) is excited to announce a new class for teens and parents being offered at our Gardnerville office location, “Family & Adolescent-Alcohol & Drug Information Class”. The class will cover the following topics: Teen Development & Alcohol and Drug Use, The Addiction Process, Current Drugs of Abuse in Douglas County, 9 Types of Interventions-
What Parents Can Do and Community Resources-Where You Can Go For Help. The class will be taught by Lance Crowley, MA, MFT & LADC and Tahoe Youth & Family Services. It is offered the first Monday of every month, 5-7pm at Tahoe Youth & Family Services’ Gardnerville office, 1422 Mission St., located behind Aladdin Florist in the center of town.
