Our Mission

The mission of Tahoe Youth & Family Services is to promote the healthy development of the children, youth, and families of the Lake Tahoe community by providing:

• Counseling
• Education
• Support Programs

TYFS provides professional, confidential, and affordable help and referrals for youth and families at risk for negative life outcomes. Families experiencing the effects of homelessness, alcohol and drug use, teen pregnancy, depression and thoughts of suicide, gang involvement, incarceration and runaway youth are supported through individual, family and group counseling, mentoring and outreach services.
